Ghel the Gold Horn Unicorn from the Metal Horn Unicorn Tribe

In the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns, readers are briefly introduced to Ghel, the Gold Horned Unicorn.

Ghel is one of the metal horn unicorns featured in the Journey To Osm collection of books by Sybrina Durant.

Unicorns have been a source of fascination for human beings for centuries. These mystical creatures have been a part of folklore and mythology in different cultures around the world. Legends describe unicorns as noble, graceful creatures that possess magical powers. Ghel the Gold-Horned unicorn fits this description perfectly. Ghel is a member of the Empath Herd. Gold is the horn color of empaths. They are able to see beyond the surface of other creatures, right into their very souls. In certain circumstances, they have the ability to merge their minds with others, too. Ghel is a unicorn with a golden colored hide and a honey beige flowing mane and tail. She wears an open heart gold necklace charm on a gold chain. The open heart represents her kind heart and her willingness to help others. It is said that wearing this necklace can bring good luck and prosperity.

Ghel the Gold-Horned unicorn has startling bright blue mesmerizing eyes that can hypnotize anyone who gazes into them for too long. Her golden horn is not just a beautiful adornment but a powerful tool that she uses to channel her magic. She is a member of the magical metal horn unicorn tribe from Unimaise. Ghel is empathic and can sense the emotions of other unicorns and get glimpses of their future. She also has the power to make them see themselves as they actually are. A touch of her horn on another’s heart usually has a soothing effect but it can also be used as a weapon for to protect herself from those with evil intent. One of the most remarkable things about Ghel is her ability to spin out golden thread from her horn. This golden thread is so precious that it can be used to make protective talismans. Talismans made from Ghel’s golden thread are known to be powerful artifacts that can ward off evil spirits and protect their wearer from harm. Ghel has a close bond with her fellow unicorns and is always eager to help them in any way she can. She believes in the power of unity and teamwork, and often coordinates with other unicorns to solve problems and overcome challenges. Ghel is known for her kind heart and gentle nature. She is always ready to lend a helping hoof and is loved and respected by her tribe. Her empathic abilities make her an excellent listener, and the other unicorns often come to her to share their problems and seek advice. Ghel is patient and understanding, and always tries to see the best in everyone. In addition to her powers and abilities, Ghel is also a talented weaver. She uses her golden thread to create intricate patterns and designs that she uses to make protective talismans. These talismans are highly sought after by other unicorns, and Ghel is often approached by those seeking her help and expertise. She inspires and motivates those around her to be better versions of themselves, and her legacy will be felt for generations to come. Ghel is a reminder to us that we should cherish magical creatures such as unicorns and understand the power that they hold. They are more than just mystical creatures of folklore and mythology. They represent strength, love, compassion, and protection. In the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns, readers are briefly introduced to Ghel, the Gold Horned Unicorn.

The precious metal that people are most familiar with is gold. It is, in fact, the most traded commodity in the world. It represents humankind’s quest for perfection in all things physical and spiritual. Ghel is the Old English word for gold. It is a word with Indo-European roots. It refers to something that has a gleaming or shining yellow color. Sometimes, it refers directly to the metal, gold. Ghel’s magical power is a play on words from the phrase, ‘she has a heart of gold.’ The honey-colored unicorn is from the Empath Herd of the Metal-Horned Unicorn Tribe. She has a good and kind nature. Her pure heart allows her to see what lies under the surface of another unicorn so that they may be guided into reaching their highest potential. She is full of generosity with a sense of honor and justice. She exhibits noble courage when the situation calls for it.

In part of the Journey To Osm story, Ghel the Gold Horned Unicorn wears a golden veil which is lit with starlight luminescence. The magical veil plays a prominent role in gathering all of the unicorns together in a loving embrace as they prepare to meet their destiny. Historically, a veil was intended to show honor to someone or something. Originally, only noble women were allowed to wear them. In later times, veils were worn by many women who thought it protected them against demons or evil spirits. Today’s brides may not know it but protection from evil is the traditional reasoning behind wearing a bridal veil. For centuries, women have also worn sheer veils during mourning periods after funerals or while awaiting the return of a loved one. Ghel received her veil from Style, the Steel-Horned Unicorn stylist of the Metal Horned Tribe, when Blue took off, alone, to meet his destiny.

Journey To Osm book ends with Ghel singing about how happy she is to be on Unimaise where she is safe, home and free. You can hear that song and many other songs I’ve written over the years on Youtube. Ghel’s song, “Home” is sung by the lovely-voiced Annabelle with background singing by AudreyMCD.
