This printable Periodic Table Element Sorter is an excellent way to help your child learn where different elements belong in the periodic table. The puzzle features engaging characters like unicorns, dragons, alchemists, knights, and goblins, each representing one of the 118 elements. This captivating theme, “No Metal, No Magic…and No Technology,” makes it a fun way for kids to familiarize themselves with metals and other elements.

The download includes three pages of periodic table rows labeled with each element’s name, along with two pages of game pieces, all in PDF format. The 11 x 17 Element Sorter boards can be easily printed on standard school or home printers using either 8.5 x 22 or 11 x 17 paper. Simply tape the three game board sheets together to create one complete board. For best results, print the puzzle pieces on cardstock, then laminate both the front and back. Cut out each piece and lay them out on a tabletop with either the printed side facing up or down. Mix the pieces to start the fun!
