Everything real here is about boron’s genuine strength, hardness, and thermal properties as a ceramic and semiconductor material — that corroborates the “boron-ceramic infrastructure never cracks” world-building. The parts of the story that go beyond real chemistry (resonant “extraction” of stored energy from a lattice, molecular-level structure manipulation by will, “Primary Bindings” that transmute stone to gas) are invented magic system mechanics with no real-world basis.
